A week ago we witnessed an amazing and full of joy, mostly girls-joy, event: SHISEIDO CELEBRATES COLOUR with DICK PAGE – the Artistic director of Shiseido Make up who joined himself to promote new range of COLOURS for new season. All took place at IDOL and filled with exciting guests – mostly ladies obviously, but this time focusing on younger generation which really added a great refreshment to such a classic and established brand as SHISEIDO is. The Art Direction was handed to my dear Yoshiko Kris-Webb, well done you, with great support of Creative Director Komatsu san /WATOWA/, his team and Tokyo Dandy spinning good music-vibes around – and the result was just marvelous. All was inspired by Dick Page`s NY studio with 5m long table with never-ending mirror on it and lots of new eye-shadows, lipsticks etc to try on but also to design on the paper your very own new-look-makeup. There were professional make up corners with professional Shiseido make up artists to make you even more beautiful and then the professional photographer could take your pic of you in the arranged especially for this occasion a professional photo studio. My small contribution to the even were… LIPS – with my very first neon-design as my little red-highlight.
Congratulation again to Dick Page and all SHISEIDO team, as well to Yoshiko and all ppl behind her. Proud. Well Done.

Guy Bourdin – with this name I have lots of my first Tokyo memories when his great exhibition was open almost 7 years ago. And now again, in much smaller scale but still powerful and this this with a company of NARS and its pop up store at Ba-tsu Art Gallery in Jingumae, featuring its holiday collection “inspired” by the great photographer. All till 24th Nov!!!
In the far-away-location in Tokyo [read: TABLOID] Diesel presented its new capsule collection of bags and accessories by new-in-da-house Nicola Formichetti and his golden touch. In a very bondage setting – really impressive indeed – you could see also bondage inspired pieces – edgy, sharp and very modern. And then there was the party, with neons, fury floor, naked or almost naked leather-strapped girls, in a very high heels and also with whips, dancing by the walls or inside a huge cage stage, and some of them even fighting too, with black and red – very”sexy” catering, live gig by Brooke Candy and lots of other VIPs watching it and etc etc. The event had many layers visually, emotionally, personally and more… darker as well, when you could see yourself and others a bit differently. Great. Dark. Night. And congratulations to Nicola and Diesel.
personally it was one of those dream-alike-nights when you know all is real but is it? when you stuck in a hot-crowd-of-people while you can`t even find yourself alone, when you think you took lots of cool photos of cool ppl and then most of them are blurred and too dark and the best ones are with the food…

JELLY LOVE – my recent work – big scale hand-drawing on the glass
at ACQUA Hair Salon, Omotesando. The project was a part of AOSANDO ART FAIR and
it still can be viewed by the end of the week at least.
It was one of those Friday evenings which just happened spontaneously and unplanned, where you supposed to go here and there and suddenly found yourself also in many other places, when you hanging out with your friends and ending up with others as well. It was a night full of surprises and amazing encounters, witnessing new things popping out around the town. And there were so many moments I did not even photographically register, hmmm maybe were just too personal or just far too consuming-your-attention when the last thing crossed your mind was your camera. So here we go, some couple weeks ago…
all interiors going round&round at Band of Outsiders`s Tokyo flagship store opening, with Yoshiko

How lovely it was the idea of Dior Homme to invite ppl for brunch and on Saturday morning rather then saying it s the tenjikai/exhibition or presentation – how interesting is that. the whole event was really about the SPRING collection /before PRE COLLECTION/ launch and the Omotesando Store relaunch as well as the collaboration between the brand and its creative director Kris Van Assche with acclaimed creative duo M/M Paris. The result was definitely very arty and very geometrical which has the references to the collection, obviously, inspired by Art at Art Basel in Miami. Art has been always very influential for Fashion world, in this case in a very “pure” and interesting way, especially it is a men`s collection.
