LOEWE x Junya Watanabe – unexpected perfect match

I had this really special opportunity to join preview presentation of capsule collection/collaboration between Junya Watanabe and Spanish luxury house LOEWE – which took place last Tuesday at Spanish Embassy. The crowd seemed to be quite selected – not over packed at all which was nice actually – with some international guests too. And the collection – well not much I`ve been in the close crowd of fans for LOEWE apart my huge admiration the highest quality leather goods – apparently one of the best dyed in the industry. And on the contrary I`ve been following Junya Watanabe creations seems like since ever – well, since he started, of course. And the result we`ve got was quite surprising –  very punk-rock and classy in the same time collation – combining both brands signature edge. We have here lots  of asymmetry, patch-working, motorcycle jackets, over-size pocket and fur coats – all in made with the premium leather quality, of course. The different color punk- wigs and almost no make up but the deep red lips for ladies did the great job. And respect for the models who presented the idea behind the collection perfectly – with I-don`t-give-a-sh*t attitude, in the hall of the Spanish Embassy converted into mix of interiors – from Alhambra to Escurial, I do believe so.
