Y's 2008 s/s catalogue shooting

commons&senseのクリエイティブチームでのお仕事！！！
Y'sの2008 S/S のカタログの撮影！今まではパリですべて制作してきたのが、昨シーズン2007-2008 A/W から佐々木がADとしてcommons&senseのクリエイティブチームでやっています！

フォトグラファーは去年までパリに居てた TAKUYA！
今回のカタログテーマは、『1980年代』の2008年の解釈！！！
洋服！ヘア＆メイク！ともに1980年代！カタログのでき上がりを楽しみに！
ミラノ出発前の撮影でドタバタしてましたが・・・
いい感じの撮影ができました！！！
スタッフのみんな！いつもタイトなスケジュールの撮影で！
いい仕事してくれて！ありがとう！！！感謝感謝です！

A shoot for Y's 2008 S/S catalogue. The staff for this shoot today was a bunch of commons&sense creative team. Y's catalogue had long been created and produced in Paris, however since 2007-2008 A/W season I took over as an art director for the catalogue along with the commons&sense creative team.
We had Takuya as a photographer who came back from Paris last year. The theme of this season is "1980's" interpreted through the perspective of year 2008. Don't miss it!!! The shooting took place just before my trip to Milan, but it went wonderfully well. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this shooting!!!

tasting event : armani / restorante, armani / privé

11月7日に銀座にできるARMANI / GINZA TOWER！！！
その中にできるイタリアンレストランの試食会が表参道のOFFICINA di Enrico でありました。その試食会が行われたレストランは、あの有名な、このレストランのオーナーであるエンリコデルフリンガー氏がシェフを務めています。ARMANI / GINZA TOWERで出されるメニューの他に、この日のためのエンリコスペシャルがテーブルに並び・・・
今まで食べてきたイタリアンとはひと味違う、素材のうまみを生かした繊細なイタリアンでした！メチャメチャおいしかったので、11月になったら！タワーに食べにいきたい感じです・・・

ARMANI / GINZA TOWER will open in Ginza on 7th November!!!
There was a menu tasting event for the Italian restaurant which will open in the TOWER. The event was held at OFFICINA di Enrico where the famours Enrico Derflingher is the owner and the chef. Besides the menu from the newly opening restaurant at ARMANI / GINZA TOWER, we were also served with some "Enrico Special" for this day ...
A delicious sophisticated Italian cuisine which I never had anywhere else before... I'm planning to go back and taste it again at the TOWER in November...

public image show

ウチのファッションエディター、SHUNがスタイリングしているブランド、PUBLIC IMAGE。東コレ期間とは時期を外して行われたCATWALK SHOW。S/Sらしい差し色が印象的ないいプレゼンでした。

PUBLIC IMAGE show, which our fashion editor SHUN did the styling for. The show was held off the Japan Fashion Week schedule. It was a nice presentation with little bits of fresh colours everywhere - perfect for Spring/Summer season.

dinner after gucci aoyama opening

GUCCI の青山ショップのリニューアルパーティの後、恵比寿でご飯！
BALENCIAGA、ANIMAL COLLECTIVE、BONJOUR、Numéro、そしてcommons&sense！！！ファッション系と音楽系の夜会でした・・・会話は全くファッションでも音楽でもなく・・・夜な夜な盛り上がりました・・・
この会の前に行ったGUCCI の青山ショップはリニューアルされ、3フロアで構成されている各フロアは、ウィメンズ＆メンズのそれぞれのアイテムがすごく見やすく、全体的なイメージはシルバー、メタリック、ブロンズカラーのミラーをベースにされた GUCCI らしいモダンな世界でした！

We had a dinner in Ebisu after GUCCI AOYAMA renewal open reception party. The members included friends from BALENCIAGA, ANIMAL COLLECTIVE, BONJOUR records, Numéro and commons&sense!!!
It was a fashion and music bunch although, there wasn't much conversation related to that topic!
By the way, the renovated GUCCI AOYAMA has a great modern atmosphere with metallic-bronze based mirrors. Both womenswear and menswear are nicely presented in the three-story structure. It really is worth seeing it!

やっと commons&sense のＨＰがリニューアルオープンしました！
シンプルで見やすい感じで、内容も充実させていきます！

編集長である私、佐々木香のブログもできるだけ毎日更新できるぐらい
の勢いでやっていきます！！！（現実的にはやっぱり毎日は無理ですが・・・）
今後どんなＨＰになっていくかは、全く未知・・・
ただＨＰには可能性を感じています。

雑誌という紙媒体ではできないことをいろいろチャレンジしていきます！！！
今後ともよろしくお願いします！

The commons&sense website has finally been launched!

We made the design of our site quite simple and easy to read with loads of content (and more to come!). As editor in chief, I, Kaoru Sasaki, will be posting blog entries and photos, which will (hopefully) be updated everyday!!! (it's an extremely difficult task, but I will do my best.)

Who knows how our website will turn out? ...however, I do feel that there is a lot of possibilities in this format. We want to explore all the things which we cannot do in the magazines!!!

commons&sense ISSUE33

commons&sense ISSUE33 のテーマは、『温故知新』。クラッシックなシルエットやディテールがすごく新鮮でかわいく！かっこよかった！2007-2008A/Wは、あえてそんな『温故知新』的な気持ちで全体を創りました！

さらに、靴とバッグの強い魅力をしっかり見てもらうために、あえてカタログ的な誌面構成し、全体的な見せ方もよりカタログ的な要素を取り入れ！ 2007-2008 A/W のファッションの空気が感じることのできる 2007-2008 A/W ファッションカタログマガジンになりました！

荒木さんに撮り下ろしていただいた『TOKYO RED』も、荒木さんの持つ独特のパワーに 2007-2008 A/W のファッションを挿した、いい感じのアラーキーな写真集になったと思います。

さらに今回、『LV MAGIC』で参加してくれた Jeanne Detallante は、センス抜群！！！今後、連載ページ創っていきたいぐらい！！！素晴らしい才能！！！

また、『NON-BLONDE VENUS』の凛子ちゃんは、本当にプロフェッショナルで最高にノリのいい！日本を代表するファッションアクトレスでした！！！

そんなこんな commons&sense ISSUE33 は、2007-2008 A/W ファッションが、何かいい感じに感じる一冊です！！！

commons&sense ISSUE33 is "Back to Cliché."

Fashion wise, I thought this season's classic silhouettes and details were just fantastic! So, we made the whole issue dedicated to the idea of "Back to Cliché" (i.e. going back to the classics).

Furthermore, there are loads of fasntastic shoes and bags in this issue, so we decided to incorporate a bit of a catalogue-like layout. This issue may feel a bit like the A/W 2007-2008 fashion catalogue in a way.

"TOKYO RED," shot especially for us by Nobuyoshi Araki, is a beautiful collaboration of his photographic style and this season's fashion trends. See how it turned out in the beautifully photographed "TOKYO RED!!!"

An illustrator Jeanne Detallante, who illustrated "LV MAGIC" for us, showed great talent and taste. We would love for her to become a regular contributor!!!

Rinko in "NON-BLONDE VENUS" was very professional and super charismatic! She definitely is a representative of the most fashionable japanese actresses!

So... these are only a few insights into commons&sense ISSUE33. It is packed with the flavours of the A/W 2007-2008 fashion, so take a look and go back to cliché!

2007.9.9.SUN

commons&sense man ISSUE03 の出張校正のために来た北海道・旭川・・・何にもない・・・
ホテルに完全缶詰の2日間・・・文字校正と最終のレイアウトデザインUP・・・
心地よさそうなベットも・・・ただの資料置き場に・・・
一体ここがどこなのか、まったく北海道にいるということ感じることなく、時間は、アッという間に過ぎていきました・・・

唯一、よかったかな・・・！と思われるのは、ホテルに近くの和食レストランで食べた『フルーツトマト』。
2008年S/Sな感じと限りなくデザートに近い味わいに、思わず・・・一枚！！！
さすが！北海道と感心した瞬間でした。

＊9月27日発売の commons&sense man ISSUE03、テーマは『PLAY』。ゲームもスポーツもセックスも・・・みんなPLAY！！！いろんなPLAYを commons&sense man 的に考え！一冊にしました！お楽しみに！！！
