The commons&sense website has finally been launched!

We made the design of our site quite simple and easy to read with loads of content (and more to come!). As editor in chief, I, Kaoru Sasaki, will be posting blog entries and photos, which will (hopefully) be updated everyday!!! (it's an extremely difficult task, but I will do my best.)

Who knows how our website will turn out? ...however, I do feel that there is a lot of possibilities in this format. We want to explore all the things which we cannot do in the magazines!!!

commons&sense ISSUE33 is "Back to Cliché."

Fashion wise, I thought this season's classic silhouettes and details were just fantastic! So, we made the whole issue dedicated to the idea of "Back to Cliché" (i.e. going back to the classics).

Furthermore, there are loads of fasntastic shoes and bags in this issue, so we decided to incorporate a bit of a catalogue-like layout. This issue may feel a bit like the A/W 2007-2008 fashion catalogue in a way.

"TOKYO RED," shot especially for us by Nobuyoshi Araki, is a beautiful collaboration of his photographic style and this season's fashion trends. See how it turned out in the beautifully photographed "TOKYO RED!!!"

An illustrator Jeanne Detallante, who illustrated "LV MAGIC" for us, showed great talent and taste. We would love for her to become a regular contributor!!!

Rinko in "NON-BLONDE VENUS" was very professional and super charismatic! She definitely is a representative of the most fashionable japanese actresses!

So... these are only a few insights into commons&sense ISSUE33. It is packed with the flavours of the A/W 2007-2008 fashion, so take a look and go back to cliché!
